What does a well-prepared stage manager bring with them to rehearsal?

That's among the many subjects Maegan Allen discussed in the documentary she created for her senior thesis. Allen was part of the stage management teams for several mainstage, student and Theatre Guild productions, as well as working on community productions. Her final production with us was Mr. Burns, which was cancelled because of the COVID-19-related campus closure, so her 40-minute film did not include the technical rehearsals and run of the show. Nonetheless, it offers a deep dive into the process that illuminates the multifarious roles a stage manager fulfills in a production.
