U.S. Marine Band (The President’s Own)

The U.S. Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization, and has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams.

The Marine Band is directed by Colonel Jason K. Fettig (’97, ’98) who is returning to campus for the first time since being named to the post in 2014. Guest conductors are Malcolm W. Rowell (Col. Fettig's former teacher at UMass) and UMass Wind Studies Director Matthew Westgate.
