Exhibitions

Carbon is an exhibition of work by the 2017 recipients of the Collaborative Aggregates Art Scholarship. It brings together six undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Art who work in a broad range of materials, languages, and concerns. Some explore the dynamic relationship between the body, performance, and place. Others mine personal and social memories to create intimate landscapes of photographs, drawings, letters, and prints

Bill Rock's solo exhibition "Recent Work/Primitive Ideas" investigates the ideas published in Andre Breton's “Manifesto of Surrealism”, which had its belief that our imagination is as valid as our perceived reality.

Tess Rock's solo exhibition "Fallen" is a collection of drawings and paintings based on the artist’s contemplation on the notion of falling, Rock's new paintings speak of her reverence for fallen objects, such as husks and seed pods, that decompose or reenergize through reseeding.
